Adherence to uniform and equipment standards ensures that all GCEMS members present a professional image, maintain safety during operations, and are prepared for any situation that arises. Regular inspections and proper maintenance are essential to keeping our operations effective and safe.
While minor adjustments to your uniform may be made for personal comfort or practical reasons, any changes requested by command must be adhered to promptly and without hesitation. Should there be a need for significant modifications to the uniform, approval from command must be obtained prior to implementation. All personnel are expected to maintain uniformity and professionalism in appearance at all times, ensuring that the integrity of the department’s image is upheld.
If uniform repairs, exchanges, or replacements are necessary, please contact your supervisor or command. They will facilitate the appropriate arrangements to ensure you are provided with the required items in a timely manner.
Any individual found wearing an improper uniform, disgracing the uniform, selling, trading, or engaging in any similar misconduct regarding department-issued uniforms will face disciplinary action. Such actions may result in a formal reprimand, suspension, or, in severe cases, termination from the department.
