The Training Division of the Northeast Guilford Fire Department is responsible for developing the next generation of firefighters, medics, and rescue professionals, as well as ensuring current members maintain peak operational readiness. Through structured instruction, realistic simulations, and ongoing development, the Training Division forms the backbone of NGFD's excellence.

Search & Rescue Scenario Training
Command & Leadership Development Courses
HazMat, Extrication, and Technical Rescue Certifications
Annual Skills Evaluations & Physical Agility Testing
We also manage training documentation, qualifications tracking, and compliance with state and federal training mandates.
